Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by Kitchen Experts ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Services Provided

Kitchen Experts provides kitchen renovation services including but not limited to:

• Complete kitchen renovations
• Cabinet refacing and installation
• Countertop installation
• Lighting upgrades and electrical work
• Design consultation services

3. Estimates and Contracts

All estimates provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Final pricing and project details will be outlined in a separate contract. Work will not commence until a signed contract and deposit are received.

4. Payment Terms

• A deposit of 25% is required upon contract signing
• Progress payments may be required for larger projects
• Final payment is due upon project completion
• Late payments may incur interest charges of 1.5% per month
• We accept cash, check, and major credit cards

5. Project Timeline

While we strive to complete projects on schedule, timelines are estimates and may be affected by factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, material availability, and unforeseen structural issues.

6. Change Orders

Any changes to the original scope of work must be documented in writing and may result in additional charges and timeline adjustments. Customer approval is required before implementing any changes.

7. Materials and Warranties

• We provide a 2-year warranty on workmanship
• Manufacturer warranties apply to all materials and appliances
• Customer-supplied materials are not covered under our warranty
• Warranty claims must be reported within 30 days of discovery

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• Providing clear access to work areas
• Removing personal belongings from work areas
• Ensuring utilities are available when needed
• Obtaining necessary permits (unless otherwise agreed)
• Communicating any concerns promptly

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not responsible for consequential, indirect, or punitive damages. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total contract amount.

10. Insurance and Licensing

Kitchen Experts is fully licensed and insured. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for all employees and subcontractors.

11. Cancellation Policy

Projects may be cancelled with written notice. Cancellation fees may apply based on work completed and materials ordered. The deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
